Let me explain how bad Bush really is.

I have wanted to write about President Bush for so long, the frustration is just festering. Now I am going to devote a whole page to him and the colossal dropped ball the republicans have got on their hands. Jesus, where in the world do I start?

How about he lied to go to war. More then once. Presently he is having some political fallout over these lies. First one “Donde esta WMD?” Let me guess there still looking, right? Then the next cause of war, “There is a link between the Taliban and Iraq” Turns out that there was money sent to the Taliban from Saudi Arabia but not Iraq. Eleven of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, None from Iraq. Saddam and Bin Laden even hated each other. What gives? The Bush family is good friends with the Saudi royal family, right?. Does that make more ties between Bush and Bin Laden then it does with Saddam and Bin Laden? Next lie, “we are bringing stability and democracy to the area”. I really do wish this were true. The war might actually go right if it were. How can I tell it is a lie? Ask any returning solder from Iraq. They know they got screwed over. They will tell you it's real hard to build a democracy when you are too busy defending Halliberton. Ask the troops how many hospitals or schools they ether built or know of that got built. You are going to find out that there are not that many.

The real reason why we are there, Oil. All ways has been always will. Bush is an oil man and America has got some big SUVs to push from suburbia to work every day. That is what this war is all about. America is now just beginning to see this political fall out. The next three years will be quite sobering for America.

How about Katrina. I feel for the city of New Orleans. But it was insulting how unprepared the federal government was. This after we spent billions of dollars trying to combat an unforeseen terrorism disaster. We end up with a very predictable disaster. There was no excuse for all this. This could be our worst moment in history.

Above all these things. Bush has made an even more colossal mistake our country will feel for at least the next 10 years. He has failed to see the fact that we have reached our limit of cheep oil. For the past 6 years gas has been going up. The world is heading for an energy crises, and we have put nothing into stopping it or finding something different. To add a further insult to the situation. Bush, when he should have been thinking about alternative energy, wanted to put a man on Mars.

It gets worse. Ideas have always been a main stay of America. What is great about ideas is they never run out. What does bush and the republicans do? They cut National Science Foundation's funding. The post 9/11 immigration policy has all but cut off foreign students from coming into this country and sharing thier ideas in a university setting. This also has the affect of cutting America off from the most brilliant minds in the world. Throw in a little lack of stem cell research, and America is going to wake up with ALL the high tech jobs outsourced to India, China, and Europe. The world is going to pass us like we are standing still.

The sad part about it is, with Bush's every childed left behind act, we will be too stupid to figure it out.
